Anna Nalick (born March 30, 1984) is an American adult alternative singer-songwriter. Celebrated for her poignant lyrics and candid live performances, she hails from Glendora, California, U.S.

Born and raised listening to the sounds of Broadway, Elvis Presley, and Led Zeppelin, Nalick’s draws her greatest influence from more contemporary acts including John Mayer, Fiona Apple and Blind Melon. Whilst studying at college the singer produced a DIY six-song demo, which resulted in Nalick meeting Christopher Thorn and Brad Smith of Blind Melon, and producer Eric Rosse. In 2003 Nalick signed with Columbia Records and began work on her debut album.

Ahead of her full-length release, the singer released the single “Breathe (2 AM)”, which made waves in the industry, charting at No. 45 on the Billboard 200 and later being certified triple-platinum. Hosting a handful of esteemed musicians and producers, including Mark Endert, Christopher Thorn, Brad Smith, Lyle Workman, Joey Waronker, and Matt Chamberlain, the album peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard 200. In 2006 Nalick won the AC Female Artist of the Year award at the New Music Awards, surprising many by beating out Sheryl Crow.

The EP “Shine” arrived in January 2008 featuring the single of the same name, a cover of Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ “Breaking the Girl”, as well as acoustic renditions of her most popular songs. Despite significant delays, Nalick’s sophomore album “Broken Doll & Odds & Ends” was issued in 2011 on the independent label Nyctograph Records. The record was premiered live at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, California, after which she enrolled at UCLA, whilst still writing for other musicians.
